The role will include delivering therapeutic programmes to help families recover from trauma caused by domestic abuse.

Synopsis of duties:

Delivering an effective programme, involving delivering therapeutic programmes to families who have experienced domestic abuse
Arranging activities and resources supporting play and social interaction for children
Contributing to the planning and reviewing processes for the family and children's programmes and activities to ensure continuous improvement and development to meet the changing needs of the centre
Providing support for parents, carers and their families with opportunities for them to engage in exploring faith, including linking up with the spiritual programme
Supporting families with advice including: life skills, move on housing, facilitating school placements or signposting to external agencies/professionals
Working in partnership with social services and other professional bodies

Essential Requirements:

Female candidates only
Enhanced DBS on update service or issued within the last 12 months.
