Stores Administration Assistant

Location: Sutton in Ashfield
Hours: Full Time (Early finish on Fridays)
Salary: 30,500.00

Are you an organised administrator with great attention to detail?

Turner Fox Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Stores Administration Assistant to join their busy Stores and Materials team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong administrative skills, and is confident working with stock, purchasing and ERP systems.

The Role of Stores Administrator

You'll play a key role in supporting the efficient running of the stores department, ensuring stock records are accurate and materials are available to support production.

Duties will include:

  • Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory data within the ERP system
  • Processing Goods Received Notes (GRNs)
  • Monitoring stock levels, allocations and material availability
  • Investigating stock discrepancies and resolving inventory issues
  • Assisting with cycle counts and annual stock takes
  • Raising purchase orders and progressing supplier deliveries
  • Running stock and inventory reports
  • Creating and maintaining product and part records
  • Supporting Production Planning and Purchasing teams
  • Liaising with Stores, Production, Engineering, Purchasing and Logistics departments
  • Assisting with internal and external audits
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records

For the role of Stores Administrator - We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within stores, purchasing, logistics or manufacturing
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience using an ERP or stock control system would be advantageous
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills
