Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Location: Sutton in Ashfield

We are working on behalf of a welcoming and friendly small village school in Mansfield, part of a well-established and supportive multi-academy trust. The school has a lovely ethos, placing children’s wellbeing, curiosity, and achievement at the heart of everything they do. They are now seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team, supporting pupils in Early Years and Key Stage 1.

The Role:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across Early Years and Key Stage 1. You will work closely with class teachers to provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, helping children to reach their full potential in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support teaching and learning in Early Years and Key Stage 1

* Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning

* Help create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment

* Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

* Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioural development

* Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times

Candidate Requirements:

* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

* Experience working in Early Years and/or Key Stage 1

* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team

* Commitment to supporting pupil wellbeing and development
