E-Learning Creator

The closing date is 17 June 2026.

The EPR E‑Learning Creator will design, develop, and maintain high‑quality digital learning content to support the implementation and adoption of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.

The postholder will create engaging, interactive e‑learning modules tailored to different staff roles, ensuring accessibility, usability, and compliance with Trust standards.

They will work closely with the Training Manager, clinical teams, and technical specialists to translate workflows into effective digital learning experiences.

Although hybrid working is available across the team, this role will therefore require a minimum on‑site presence of three days per week at Sherwood Forest Hospitals. During go‑live or other key delivery periods, on‑site requirements may increase.

Main duties of the job

The E‑Learning Creator is responsible for designing and developing high‑quality digital learning modules using approved authoring tools, incorporating multimedia elements and applying adult learning principles. Working closely with Product Specialists and clinical stakeholders, they translate EPR workflows into clear, role‑specific training content that reflects best practice.

The role ensures all materials meet accessibility, clinical safety, and information governance standards, while maintaining version control and updating content as needed.

They also manage learning content within the Trust's LMS, monitor completion, provide user support, and produce reports for training and programme leads.

In addition, the postholder continuously improves digital learning by gathering feedback, analysing usage data, and adopting innovative approaches to enhance engagement and effectiveness.
