- Salary up to £32,200 per year depending on experience

Our client is a successful fabrication and manufacturing business supplying high-quality metal components to a range of industries. Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, they are looking to strengthen their production team with an experienced CNC Plasma Operator.
The RoleThis is more than a standard machine operating position. You'll play a key role in the fabrication process, taking responsibility for producing precision-cut components while maintaining high quality and production standards. Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you'll be involved in operating CNC plasma cutting machinery, quality checking finished parts, and supporting wider fabrication activities across the workshop.
Key Responsibilities- Set and operate CNC plasma cutting machinery
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Load and unload sheet metal and fabrication materials
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments where required
- Carry out first-off and in-process quality checks
- Perform basic machine maintenance and fault finding
- Support fabrication and assembly activities when required
- Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently
- Maintain high housekeeping and health & safety standards
- CNC plasma, laser, punch or profile cutting operations
- Fabrication, welding or sheet metal manufacturing
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Quality inspection and dimensional checking
- Manufacturing or engineering environments
You will be a reliable, hands-on individual who enjoys working within a fast-paced workshop and takes pride in producing quality work.
