Days Only, Monday - Friday
Sutton-In-Ashfield (NG17)
12 week Temp-Perm

Metalis are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join a busy manufacturing environment, helping to maintain quality standards across fabricated switchboards and control panels. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with production teams, identify improvements, and play a key part in delivering high-quality products to customers.

What's the Job?

Carrying out quality inspections on fabricated and assembled equipment

Maintaining accurate inspection records and quality reports

Identifying defects and non-conformances and helping implement corrective actions

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes

Working with Production Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders to improve quality and productivity

Assisting with ISO 9001 compliance and quality management systems

Delivering toolbox talks and supporting quality awareness across the workforce

Helping drive a zero-defects culture throughout production

What Kind of Person Fits This Job?

Previous quality inspection or quality assurance experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Good understanding of quality management systems and ISO 9001 standards

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Confident using IT systems for reporting and record keeping

Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with production teams

Desirable but not essential:

Forklift Truck Licence

Overhead Crane experience

If you're detail-focused, quality-driven, and enjoy working closely with production teams to improve standards, you'll do well in this role.

Monday to Fridays Days (Early finish on Fridays)

12 week Temp-Perm
Ongoing training and development
