Your Impact- Radiologic Procedures & Imaging: Prepare and perform radiologic procedures following Convenient
MD and ARRT protocols. - Imaging Equipment & Safety: Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment, ensuring proper radiation safety and adhering to ALARA principles.
- Imaging & Documentation: Position patients for optimal imaging and complete studies in EMR and PACS.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with radiologists for study interpretation, manage discrepancies, and coordinate outside imaging requests.
- Clinical Support: Efficiently switch between RT and Medical Assistant responsibilities.
- Triage & History: Conduct patient triage, including vital signs, medical history, and observational examination.
- Testing & Diagnostics: Provide laboratory and diagnostic testing, screenings, and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses.
- Procedures & Point-of-Care: Perform a variety of testing procedures (e.g., vision, hearing, drug screening, pulmonary function testing, and point-of-care diagnostics such as strep, flu, RSV, glucose, urinalysis).
- Clinical Environment: Maintain clean, sterile exam rooms and instruments to ensure a safe clinical environment.
- Patient Interaction: Support clinical care standards by adhering to Convenient
MD policies and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Quality Assurance & Inventory: Manage radiology supply inventory and submit orders as needed.
- Equipment & Compliance: Ensure medical equipment is operational through preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records in alignment with HIPAA and Convenient
MD protocols.
- Team Collaboration & Training: Support onboarding and training for new clinic team members.
- Culture: Foster a positive work environment by collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and communicating effectively with team members and external providers.
- Education, Licensure, &
Certifications:
High school diploma or GED required. State licensed with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Basic Life Support (BLS) certified. - Experience: 1-2 years in radiology and patient care, preferably in urgent care or emergency settings.
- Compassionate & Patient-Focused: Demonstrates kindness and understanding, contributing to a sense of belonging for patients and teammates.
- Communication: Proactive and confident communicator (written and verbal).
- Team Player: Enjoys collaborating with others and contributing to a strong team dynamic.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; able to navigate and learn multiple systems.
- Self-Motivation: Capable of working independently with initiative to improve processes and outcomes for patients and the team.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle patient information per HIPAA regulations.
