Candidate Responsibilities:

The successful Senior Social Worker - Localities  will be expected to:

Conduct thorough assessments of individuals and families within the locality teams.
Develop, implement, and review tailored intervention plans.
Act as a lead in safeguarding cases, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
Provide expert advice and support to junior team members.
Liaise with external agencies and community organizations to coordinate care.
Maintain detailed documentation and case records.
Contribute to team meetings and ongoing service development initiatives.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all dealings.

Qualifications &

Experience:

Proven experience as a social worker, ideally within localities teams
Valid registration with social work governing bodies
Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and social care legislation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle complex cases with empathy and professionalism
