ASMPT in Suwanee, GA is looking for a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will fill a key role on the Accounting team of our fast-paced, dynamic, growing global corporation. This position will be responsible for the hands-on, detail-oriented support of various aspects of the financial cycle and accounting management of the company. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the candidate takes ownership of Accounts Payable, supports closing activities, and other accounting duties while assuring performance in accord with GAAP and internal policies and procedures.

As part of our ASMPT Share Services program, this role will also support other ASMPT affiliate companies.

Key Responsibilities and Duties /

Essential Functions:

Accounts Payable from receiving and inputting invoices to process payment.

Monitor and respond to AP email inquiries timely.

Process Master Card travel and purchase card expense transactions.

Support Certify Expense Report approval process.

Prepare and upload Payroll journal entries and accruals.

Month end journal entries and other closing activities.

Share Services support of ASMPT affiliate companies.

Qualifications and

Skills Required:

SAP experience

Accounting GAAP knowledge

Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Must be detailed and deadline oriented with ability to work independently as well as in a team

Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed

Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Education and Experience:

BA/BS in accounting

4-5 years’ experience in AP accounting
