Position Overview

The Director of Product Management, Commercial will lead the development of HVAC products for the commercial market. Responsibilities include developing and executing product strategies, managing product lifecycle, and supporting market introduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a product expert for City Multi and related commercial HVAC products.
  • Recommend product roadmaps to upper management.
  • Gather market and customer insights with the Commercial Product Champions.
  • Develop competitive analysis for cooling, heating, controls, and ventilation products.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities within the product portfolio with sales and engineering teams.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform pricing and product strategies.
  • Define product specifications, including requirements, business case, and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on product launch materials and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with factories on product specifications and lifecycle management.
  • Support testing, compliance, and project management activities.
  • Lead and mentor the product management team, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Travel domestically up to 25% as needed.
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
    • 5+ years in product marketing or management, preferably in HVAC industry.
    • Experience developing marketing materials for new products.
    • Strong presentation and communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
    • Customer-focused and proactive in responsibilities.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Team-oriented with a mindset for continuous improvement.
    Compensation & Benefits

    Base salary ranges from $140,000 to $192,500, depending on experience and location. Total rewards include bonuses, 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, and parental leave.
