Lead Test Lab Engineer

IDR is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Test Lab Engineer to join one of our top clients in the HVAC and Refrigeration industry in Suwanee, GA

• Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of incoming test requests
• Communicate with test request originators to resolve ambiguities and gather additional information where needed
• Attend weekly test schedule meetings to assist the test engineering team
• Support test engineers and technicians in setting up equipment and instrumentation
• Observe ongoing testing to ensure key parameters and applicable testing standards are followed
• Assist in the creation and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• 5+ years related work experience in testing is required.
• Experience working with HVAC and/or Refrigeration equipment/company and/or manufacturing environment
• Led teams with direct reports, ensuring effective supervision and guidance.
• Managed test requests and validations, collaborating with engineers and technicians to formalize best practices.
• Oversaw ongoing testing to confirm compliance with key parameters and applicable standards.
• Provided input on test execution feasibility, resolving ambiguities with request originators and addressing scheduling or resource concerns.
