Medical Office Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our front office team. As the first point of contact for patients, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience — from scheduling appointments to managing patient flow and supporting the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming front office experience.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Verify insurance information and collect co-pays and patient balances.
• Register new patients, update existing patient records, and ensure accuracy in the EMR system.
• Check patients in and out, prepare necessary paperwork, and coordinate follow-up visits.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff to support patient care and office flow.
• Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (calls, emails, faxes, referrals, etc.).
• Maintain front desk organization and ensure a clean, professional reception area.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of medical office, healthcare, or front desk experience.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (experience with e clinical works) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work well in a team-oriented environment.
