Position Summary: The Technical Service Advisor III provides advanced technical support to contractors, distributors, architects, and engineers who specify, install, operate, or repair Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC (METUS) products. As a knowledge expert of the METUS residential, light commercial, commercial, and controls equipment, the Advisor delivers expert service to a broad customer base.

• Provides technical information, support, and training to a large volume of general customers, METUS field personnel, and factory-trained Diamond Contractors via phone, email, and private forums.
• Solves complex technical problems associated with METUS residential, commercial, and controls equipment, and all accessories.
• Provides technical support and education on METUS controls systems and networks.
• Provides product support for all new service-related tools.
• Relays basic concepts such as AC/DC theory, inductance, and digital communications.
• Interprets wiring schematics, refrigerant circuit diagrams, and software to convey information to customers.
• Participates in new product investigations with the training department to understand technical support needs and develop support resources.
• Assists in rework of product, including factory software rewriting on all products.
• Attends on‑site advanced technical training events to increase product knowledge and support capabilities.
• Facilitates technical training events when needed to support the training schedule.
• Provides internal training to Customer Care team members and fellow Technical Service Advisers.
• Maintains and adjusts Knowledge Base Articles as needed.
• Utilizes and maintains case information within a CRM system.
• Provides technical support for on‑site facilities and training HVAC equipment.
• Willing to travel up to 40% for various company meetings and training, domestically and possibly internationally.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 7 years field experience.
• 2 years attendance of an Air Conditioning/HVAC Program at a Technical College (preferred).
• NATE Certified (preferred).
• Professional verbal and written communication, Spanish or other bilingual ability a plus.
• Strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced technical knowledge of METUS product line, including M‑ and P‑Series, City Multi products, and controls integration.
• Experience supporting hydronic HVAC systems, both chilled water and hot water.
• Comprehensive knowledge of central controllers’ functionality, setting tools (BACnet and proprietary).
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC maintenance tools and refrigerants.
• Basic understanding of BAS integration and networking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to lead a class or training session without hesitation.

Base pay range: $35.00 – $48.13 per hour
, varying by location and experience. Total compensation may include target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Employees are eligible for a 401(k) plan and Company‑sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance for themselves and dependents. Paid time off includes 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and up to 12 weeks of parental/disability leave.

Paid travel may be required up to 40% of the time.
