This role is open to U.S.
-based candidates with a background in warehouse operations and prefabrication. The Warehouse & Pre-Fabrication Operator is responsible for completing all warehouse operations and prefabrication duties on a daily basis at Sikla USA. The WPO ensures that warehouse processes, inventory, quality, prefabrication, and safety are met while driving operational efficiency and process improvements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on with a strong experience in warehouse operations and prefabrication
- Responsible for all processes connected with our Suwanee (GA) warehouse.
- Offloading, unpacking and counting/ checking goods.
- Loading and packing goods.
- Checking the accuracy of deliveries to customers (domestic, industrial projects, MEP projects).
- Checking deliveries accurately: quality checks for goods in and goods out.
- Being responsible to minimize errors in picking, packing and loading.
- Reporting mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies immediately.
- Ensuring all inventory is in the correct location.
- Ensuring warehousing processes are completed in a timely manner.
- Supporting tight timetables and given deadlines.
- Organization of packaging, labelling, tagging and bagging.
- Cleaning warehouse tools and tidying up the warehouse on a daily basis.
- Using the ERP System/ Microsoft Office for small standard processes in the warehouse.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and multiple assignments.
- Positive work attitude.
- Covering for colleagues during holiday and other absences.
- Following instructions by the Head of Warehouse and VP of Operations.
- Follow up and follow through with all responsibilities for prefabrication tasks.
- Ensure high-quality assembly, cutting, and prefabrication of steel and metal components according to specifications.
- Monitor production schedules given by supervisor to ensure on-time delivery of prefabricated products.
- Ensure fabrication equipment is maintained and properly utilized to meet operational needs.
- Able to read a tape measure and able to calculate measurements for customer applications.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately is required.
- Cut, shape, and attach prefabricated parts using hand and power tools.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Document work progress and report any issues to supervisors.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery as needed.
- Good imperial/ metric and numerical skills.
- Understanding standard processes like Goods In and Goods Out.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a distribution warehouse field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working for a fabrication / metal cutting field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience on a forklift sit down/stand up.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs independently.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Must demonstrate loyalty and commitment to the organization and team members.
- Position: This is a non-exempt full time position.
- Employment: Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (including a 1-hour lunch break).
- Work Authorization: Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.
