2. Description of function:

Production Supervisor (1 st , 2 nd and 3rd)

3.Responsible for 5s Compliance:

Organization / sorting / work safety / environmental protection in the task pane
Comply with all legal regulations and processes
Compliance of the processes defined in IMH and
Cleanliness, orderliness, industrial safety and environmentalism
Compliance of all the legal regulations within the area of responsibility

Schedule workload of the production plan, allocating work, and managing their performance.
Track performance through KPI’s, setting, and achieving goals.
Maintain quality standards, and drive activities to improve quality based on customer specifications.
Ensure that team is properly trained, help to resolve personnel issues, investigating issues and identifying problems.
Schedule and conduct shift meetings.
Responsible for shift schedule to include: workstation assignments/rotations, employee training, employee breaks, overtime assignment, backup for absent employees, and shift rotations.
Adjust during shift to make sure production needs are met.
Complete and document paperwork at the end of shift.
Perform hourly performance reviews and discipline as necessary
Approve weekly payroll
Provide support to shift leads and off shift supervisors.
Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Ensure that operators document production and audit the previous shifts prior to data being entered in SAP.
Manage safety, material flow, inventory control, ISO/TS 16949 quality systems, scrap, and 5S of the facility.
Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment, and techniques.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the art practices, participating in professional societies
Assist with maintaining the 5s principles for the shop floor and work areas.

Education and/or

Experience:

Five plus years of supervisory experience, preferably in Injection Molding or Plastics
Knowledge of 5S

Knowledge:

Plastics manufacturing principles and processes
MS Office

Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
Leading employees, assertiveness, teamwork
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Willingness to travel globally on occasion
