Job Summary

The Caring Transitions franchise is seeking a Business Development Representative who will serve as the face of the franchise, building relationships with senior living facilities, generating sales leads, networking, and developing proposals. The role reports to management and is critical to the operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Networking – Build relationships with senior living facilities, real‑estate agents, and other potential clients to generate new business.
  • Lead generation & proposal development – Identify and pursue new sales leads, collaborate with management to develop proposals that meet clients’ needs, budget, and staff availability.
  • Presentation & follow‑up – Present proposals, answer questions, address concerns, and follow up to ensure client satisfaction, including soliciting and managing all Google reviews.
  • Industry knowledge & reporting – Stay informed about industry trends and changes; provide regular reports to management on performance and progress.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships with networking and referral partners through meetings, phone calls, and electronic communications.
  • Coordinate and lead prospect meetings with a prepared agenda.
  • Sell service packages that meet senior clients’ needs, wants, and objectives.
  • Schedule and present at trade shows, public education events, and networking events.
  • Work with management and corporate to originate content, success stories, and marketing communications.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans, including product positioning, campaign strategies, and market insights.
  • Leverage strategic business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Schedule and manage marketing tactics using cross‑functional project management and social media tools.
  • Maintain effective internal communications regarding marketing functions and activities.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; experience in sales and networking required.
  • Knowledge of the senior transition and estate sale industry is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects, and prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside regular office hours to attend networking events and meet with potential clients.
