Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician role is a full-time, on-site position located in Suwanee, GA. This role is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks across the property, including repairs to building systems, equipment, and apartment interiors. Daily duties include diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues, completing work orders, conducting inspections, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate with property management and other team members to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents, while responding promptly and professionally to service requests.

The role may involve occasional after-hours or weekend work to address urgent maintenance needs.

• Ability to perform equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and building system issues.
• Experience with general maintenance and repair, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC support, and carpentry.
• Background in industrial or facilities maintenance, or similar hands-on technical environment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, use of hand and power tools, and adherence to property and regulatory standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move moderate weights, work on ladders, and perform tasks in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in residential property maintenance is a plus.
