Job SummaryThe Warehouse Clerk is responsible for moving materials within the warehouse and the loading/unloading of materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other heavy material handling equipment. The role includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping/manifesting, screening, and other various duties as assigned to ensure the full and efficient operation of the warehouse. In conjunction with Safety, the employee must ensure that compliance with current standards is maintained.

$22.00 Hourly
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Ensure the necessary handling procedures (both physical and written) are followed and documented in client‑level Quality Agreements, Service Level Agreements, and SOPs.
- Verify and receive materials into inventory; mark and inventory packages for storage or transit; may include palletizing and shrink‑wrap.
- Use material handling equipment to move, store, pick, pack, and store materials within the warehouse.
- Work from pick sheet to pull product or supplies; check orders against pull sheets.
- When receiving dangerous goods, follow the necessary procedures and store shipments in the designated section of the warehouse.
- Understand and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations including OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other government agencies; certification is required to handle hazardous material(s).
- Elevate potential situations to the next level of supervision when required.
- Identify and correct mistakes/inconsistencies when receiving or completing paperwork.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

- Basic skills in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, Word.
- Regularly use hands to write, use computer, operate a motor vehicle, use handheld device, telephone, and manipulate documents.
- Regularly read documents and write neatly, transcribing accurate information.
- Engage in activities that require talking and hearing.
- Require frequent variations including sitting, walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, or stooping.
- Specific vision abilities required to perform the job safely (close, distant, night vision, adjust focus, etc.).
- Strength aspects:
Stand and lift objects 1”‑36” high weighing 10‑160 lbs.; carry objects for distances 1‑350 ft.; push or pull objects 20‑60 lbs.; grip objects up to 15 lbs.; frequent lifting, pulling, reaching, bending, knee‑low work. - Body position and flexibility: climb stairs, climb ladders up to 10’ high, bend, reach, kneel, squat, perform tasks at waist level.
- Noise level varies from low to high depending on location or activity.
- Moderate exposure to dust, fumes, mists, and odors.
- Temperature ranges from normal indoor climate-controlled to various outdoor conditions.
- General lighting provided by fluorescent indoors and natural lighting outdoors; low light conditions in outdoor or night work.
- Off‑site travel may expose to higher noise, dust, chemicals, or cryogenic agents; hearing protection, vaccinations, medical assessments may be required.
- Personal protective equipment required for hazards encountered.
- May use hand tools for assembly, material handling equipment for cutting, carrying, cleanup kits, or equipment.
