The role will involve teaching Economics within the IBDP and may include contributions to related subjects at IGCSE level, depending on the school's curriculum requirements.

work experience We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Economics teacher with excellent subject expertise and a strong commitment to high-quality teaching and learning. Experience teaching IBDP Economics is highly desirable, alongside a sound understanding of inquiry-based learning, assessment and the development of analytical and evaluative skills.
Experience with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum would also be advantageous. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, reflective and enthusiastic about preparing students for success in further education and an increasingly interconnected global economy.

Qualifications and Experience
- A degree in Economics or a closely related discipline.
- A recognised teaching qualification, such as PGCE, QTS or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience teaching Economics at secondary level, preferably within the IBDP.
- Familiarity with IBDP Economics assessment requirements, including internal assessment and extended written responses.
- Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE or other internationally recognised qualifications would be an advantage.
- The ability to plan and deliver challenging, engaging lessons that develop critical thinking, research, analytical and evaluative skills.
- Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
- A commitment to collaborative working, professional development and student-centred education.
- A commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing and inclusive educational practice.
