Position Requirements

work experience We are seeking an experienced university or careers guidance professional with excellent knowledge of international university admissions, particularly in the UK, US and other major higher education destinations. The successful candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills, a student-centred approach and the ability to build positive relationships with students and parents from diverse cultural backgrounds. Experience supporting students following the IBDP and Cambridge IGCSE pathways, particularly with university applications, personal statements, admissions essays and course selection, would be highly advantageous.

- A relevant degree; professional qualifications in university counselling, careers guidance or education would be an advantage.
- Experience in university admissions counselling, higher education guidance, careers counselling or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of international university application systems and admissions requirements.
- Familiarity with the UK UCAS application process and US university applications, including essays and holistic admissions, would be highly desirable.
- Understanding of the IBDP and its relevance to university admissions worldwide.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- The ability to advise students on subject choices, university courses, career pathways and application strategies.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple Final date to receive applicationss.
- A commitment to student wellbeing, confidentiality, safeguarding and inclusive educational practice.
- Experience in a British international school or another international educational setting would be an advantage.
