Plumbing Course Leader | Swadlincote (DE11) | £25.00 - £32.00 Per Hour | Temp to Perm | Start: ASAP | 28 Hours a Week Across 4 Days | Teaching on L2, T Levels and L3.
Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a Further Education provider in Swadlincote (DE11) to appoint an experienced Plumbing Lecturer on a Temp to Perm basis. You will be delivering across Level 2 and T Level Plumbing programmes, supporting learners to achieve high standards in both practical and theoretical components. This role covers 28 hours per week, across Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, with some allocated time included for admin and duties.
The Role- Deliver engaging Plumbing lessons across Level 2 and T Level courses
- Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with awarding body requirements
- Monitor attendance, retention, achievement and learner progress
Contribute to course organisation and quality processes
Support learners with practical skills development and industry knowledge
Work collaboratively within the Construction department
- You must have an enhanced DBS on the update system
- If success you must be ready to start work ASAP
- A recognised construction craft qualification in Plumbing
- Recent teaching experience within an FE setting
- Experience delivering up to Level 3 Plumbing (desirable for T Level delivery)
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and maintain accurate records
- Industry knowledge and up-to-date vocational competence
