We are currently expanding our dedicated care team and are looking for caring, committed individuals who are passionate about helping others live independently, comfortably, and with dignity in their own homes.

As a Community Care Assistant
, no two days are the same. You will provide essential support to individuals with a variety of needs, helping them maintain independence while feeling safe, respected, and valued in their own homes.

• Providing personal care (washing, dressing, personal hygiene)
• Supporting with meal preparation, shopping, and light household duties
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Prompting or administering medication in line with care plans
• Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes to the office / oncall
• Travelling between service users within the Swadlincote area (mileage paid)

Non-Qualified Carers

Weekdays: £12.65 per hour

Qualified Carers (Level 2+)

Weekdays: £13.10 per hour

Enhanced rates may apply depending on hours worked.

Pay Rates

A rewarding full-time role supporting people in your local community

35p per mile mileage allowance

£5 per month data allowance

Full in-house induction and training at our Swadlincote office

Shadow shifts and competency sign-off before lone working

Ongoing support from a friendly, professional team

Structured rota with consistent hours

Applicants must live locally to Swadlincote or within a reasonable commuting distance, as this is a community-based role.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
