Manufacturing ​/ Production Operative, Forklift Operator

Position Summary

Operative – full‑time rotating shift (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am) at Swadlincote, Swain spark Industrial Estate, Park Road, Swadlincote DE12 6JT
. Report directly to the Site Manager and work across raw materials, storage, production, dispatch, and housekeeping while maintaining safety standards in line with CRH and SHE protocols.

• Achieve daily production targets
• Record and report quality data
• Load and unload products from plant and vehicles
• Ensure accurate and timely dispatch to meet customer expectations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site

• Proven experience in a similar production and dispatch environment
• Good communication skills and strong numeracy
• Mobile plant licence for diesel counterbalance forklift truck
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Previous experience with manual handling
