Production Operatives

Rapier Employment seeks Food Production Operatives for a vegetable processing facility in Swadlincote. This role, paying £12.75 per hour, involves varied duties across the production operation. Workers will load and operate machinery, trim and prepare vegetables, and bag or pack finished products. Additional tasks include weighing produce and maintaining general housekeeping standards. Adherence to food hygiene and health & safety protocols is essential.

This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time options available. Shifts run from 2:00pm until finish, with weekend work required. No prior experience is necessary, as full training is provided. The clean, hygienic environment can be chilly due to the nature of the goods processed.

We are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a busy vegetable processing facility in Measham, Derbyshire, DE12. Pay Rate £12.75 per hour. Shift 2:00pm until finish. Must be available to work weekends. Immediate starts available.

• Loading and operating processing machinery
• Trimming and preparing vegetables
• Bagging and packing products
• Weighing produce
• General production and housekeeping duties
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• No experience necessary - training provided

Working Environment

Clean and hygienic food production facility. Can be chilly at times due to the nature of the products. Some areas may be noisy during production periods.
