HGV 2 Driver - Refuse Vehicle

Refuse truck driver needed. Fancy a change? Want early finishes and to go out with a crew of people rather than on your own?

We’re offering immediate starts for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team covering the Swadlincote and Burton areas.

In this role, you’ll drive a rear‑steer vehicle through local residential streets, working closely with a team of loaders to collect household waste and recycling. While your main responsibility will be driving, you may occasionally be required to assist loaders as needed.

Hourly Rate:
These positions will pay £18.00 per hour.

Working Hours:

You will be working through Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 14:30 with weekends off.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• Possess a valid Digital Tachograph card
• Hold a valid CPC qualification
• Have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, or IN endorsements
