Are you a hands-on Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment? Do you know how to lead teams, drive performance, and keep operations running smoothly? If so, we want to hear from you.
We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of a busy warehouse operation, leading teams across inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics while driving efficiency, service, and continuous improvement.
The RoleYou will be responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, safety, and customer service standards are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all warehouse operations including goods in, dispatch, and returns.
- Drive operational performance, KPIs, and service levels.
- Control costs and manage resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and company procedures.
- Develop, mentor, and inspire Team Leaders and warehouse staff.
- Manage workforce planning to meet changing business demands.
- Oversee WMS processes and operational reporting.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Foster a positive, high-performing culture across the operation.
- Proven experience in a senior warehouse management role.
- Strong background within a 3PL/logistics environment.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Experienced in managing KPIs, budgets, and operational performance.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse systems (WMS).
- Commercially aware with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
- Confident communicator who can influence at all levels.
- Salary up to £50,000
- Monday-Friday,
