Overview
Rullion are recruiting for a Site Document Controller to join a major energy project based in Necton (PE37 8AG
).
Site-based role requiring driving to site (not accessible via public transport).
Role at a Glance- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 2 years
- Pay: £23-£30 per hour (DOE)
- Hours:
10-hour days, Monday to Friday (optional weekend work) - Location:
Site-based;
Necton, Norfolk - Status:
Inside IR35
- Involvement with multiple projects
- Management of project deliverables using the associated systems, including:
- Allocating document numbers
- Creating placeholders
- Set up supplier packages
- QA checks on deliverables
- Manage review workflows in line with project timescales
- Distribute workflow comments to Client, Suppliers and Internal teams
- Hard copy submissions to site
- Submission of As-built documentation
- Interact with wider project team
- Support Document Control team
- Contribute to continuous improvements
- Communications with external stakeholders
- Be a team player
- Key responsibilities include maintaining site documentation via SDI
- Controlling, stamping, and distributing construction drawings
- Coordinating with project teams using document management systems
- Handling incoming/outgoing documents from stakeholders
- Supporting redline markups and as-built documentation
- Performing general office and admin duties
Essential:
- Minimum 6+ months' experience in Document Management
- Training in Quality Management / Configuration Control
- Strong admin and IT skills (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, EDMS, Aconex, ACC)
- Confident communicator with great attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable in a site-based (portacabin) environment
- Fast-paced, team-oriented mindset
- Work on major UK energy infrastructure projects
