TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join a fantastic, growing accountancy practice based in Swanley.
This is a great opportunity to take on a varied role across audit, accounts and corporation tax, working closely with managers and directors to support a broad client portfolio.
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you’ll have a good balance of responsibility and support, with the opportunity to lead audit assignments, develop junior colleagues and continue building your technical experience. You’ll also get involved in additional client projects, including management accounts, cash flow forecasts and budgets.
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:- Preparing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients, working closely with managers and directors.
- Leading audit assignments, coordinating the team and overseeing work through to completion.
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns for companies and groups.
- Reviewing and supporting the work of trainees and semi seniors, helping them build their technical skills and confidence.
- Preparing management accounts, cash flow forecasts and budgets to support clients with business planning.
- Assisting with additional client projects as required.
- Managing deadlines and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and client service.
- An ACA or ACCA qualification, be working towards qualification, or be qualified by experience.
- A good technical understanding of statutory accounts, audit procedures and corporation tax.
- Confidence using accountancy software.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to take ownership of your workload.
- A collaborative approach, alongside the confidence to work independently.
- Salary dependent on experience. Circa £40,000- £55,000
- A varied role across audit, accounts, tax and additional client projects.
- Exposure to a broad client portfolio.
- Close working relationships with managers and directors.
- Opportunities to lead assignments and develop junior colleagues.
- Support to continue developing your skills and experience within a growing practice.
