We are looking for a Document Controller
, as we expand our Social Infrastructure design team. The role will be based in Swanley; travel to our head office in Warrington once a month is expected.
- Manage project documentation – organise, store, and distribute documents efficiently.
- Administer the Document Management System (DMS) – set up workflows, manage access, and ensure data security.
- Ensure compliance – maintain records to meet company, client, and regulatory standards.
- Support the project team – assist with document formatting, templates, and best practices.
- Monitor version control – ensure everyone works from the latest, most accurate documents.
- Enhance processes – identify ways to improve efficiency and implement best practices.

Education: GCSEs/A-Levels; additional qualifications in administration or document control are a plus. - 💼
Experience: Previous experience in document control within construction, engineering, or similar industries. Experience with EDMS, SharePoint and Aconex preferred but not mandatory. - 💻
Technical
Skills:
Proficient in document management systems (Aconex, SharePoint, Asite) and MS Office. - 📂
Organisation & Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision. - 🗣
Communication & Problem‑Solving: Strong ability to liaise with teams and troubleshoot document issues.
