Job Description Join the thriving and dynamic UI Social Infrastructure team in Brentwood! As a rapidly growing business, we are excited to welcome a new Senior Quantity Surveyor to contribute to our success. If you're looking for a long-term career opportunity with a Main Contractor, where you can develop your skills and be part of an industry-leading organisation, this role is for you.

You are to be the commercial lead on a long term partnering framework and be responsible for the commercial success of the projects whilst adhering to commercial administration procedures.

To promote and deliver a collaborative environment with both the client and throughout the management of the subcontract / supply chain account.
** Pre-contract
** The preparation of tenders as directed including checking of quantities, scope and programme.

Compile tender event schedule for pricing.

Analyse Subcontract tender quotations for exclusions and conditions and compile tender offering to client.(minimum 3 quotes)
Adhere to internal settlement gateways prior to tender return release.

Advise client on tender qualifications, allowances and ensure pricing is inline with Partnering Framework.
** Project delivery
** Co-operate and work in partnership with the project team to ensure consistent delivery of successful projects in order to support the achievement of business unit objectives and to deliver target margins.

Support the Operations Manager to ensure that all significant project issues and correspondence and all necessary contractual processes have been observed, notices issued, records kept and documents stored by the team to protect the company’s position, seeking advice from the Commercial Manager where necessary

Provide advice to the management team on contractual, valuation and measurement matters.
** Procurement
* * Prepare and implement the project procurement strategy with Operations Manager Support the Group Procurement Department buying deals by ensuring they are communicated to subcontractors at tender stage and applied at order stage

Chair subcontract interview meetings in association with Operations team Prepare subcontract enquiries including site measurement and formulating the tender list in consultation with the wider management team along with subsequent analysis and…
