Income Recovery Officer (£34,552 per annum, full-time, hybrid, 3 month fixed-term)

Job Role

We are looking for an Income Recovery Officer to join us on a fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will need have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as lots of compassion. You’ll have some knowledge of welfare benefits and be able to work in partnership with external agencies such as local authorities and the DWP to get the right help for residents who are struggling to pay their rent.

Good levels of numeracy and literacy are key, as is an interest in income recovery and housing law.

Although it is always the last option, you’ll need to either have experience with, or be willing to learn the court process for arrears.

The successful candidate will also need a clean driving licence and  use of a car.

Location Details

The role is based at our Swanley office. We offer a flexible approach to hybrid working with full-time employees attending the office two days per week.
