WHO WE’RE LOOKING FORWe are seeking a skilled, compassionate Clinician who is grounded, flexible, and committed to trauma-informed practice. The ideal candidate:
- Holds a Master’s degree in a mental health field and is license-eligible
- Is able to obtain independent licensure within six months of hire
- Has experience working with adolescents with significant behavioral health needs
- Values strengths-based, culturally responsive, and family-centered treatment
- Is comfortable working within an interdisciplinary team
- Communicates clearly and professionally with youth, families, and systems partners
- Can remain steady and thoughtful during crisis situations
- Newer clinicians are welcome, as are experienced clinicians seeking a structured, supportive setting.
THE ROLE IS
The Clinician is a core member of Stevens’ Clinical Department, responsible for delivering trauma-informed individual, family, and group therapy to adolescents and their families. This role coordinates treatment, collaborates closely with residential, education, nursing, and psychiatric staff, and helps ensure that clinical care aligns with Stevens’ philosophy and behavioral support model.
Clinicians maintain active caseloads, participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary meetings, support discharge planning and permanency goals, and contribute to a culture of learning, reflection, and quality improvement.
SCHEDULE, COMPENSATION & BENEFITSSchedule:Full-time, Exempt, Monday–Friday, standard business hours, with flexibility required
Salary:$63,000–$72,000 annually, depending on experience and degree
