Ocean State Veterinary Specialists (OSVS) in East Greenwich, RI, and Bay State Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Services (BSVESS) in Swansea, MA, are actively seeking a couple of great Veterinary Criticalists to join our dynamic teams. We’re excited about expanding our services and team, and we invite you to be a part of it!

• Expanding Services: Both hospitals are scaling up with increasing caseloads in internal medicine and surgery. This is a prime opportunity for a dedicated Veterinary Criticalist eager to collaborate with a youthful and energetic group of specialists and ER doctors.
• State-of-the-Art Facilities: OSVS is a 26,000 sq. ft. facility offering comprehensive referral and emergency services to Rhode Island, eastern Connecticut, and southern Massachusetts. BSVESS recently relocated to a 36,000 sq. ft. building, expanding our specialty services to include radiology, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, and exotic pet medicine. The integration of a linear accelerator and a CT scanner will spotlight medical, surgical, and radiation oncology.
• Collaborative Network: Partnered to provide a wider network for case collaboration, enhancing patient care across the region.

• Supportive Environment: Day shifts start with sit-down rounds to discuss all patients on the emergency service. Our ER clinicians, many of whom have been with us for over 10 years, continue to learn and grow every day.
• Talented Team: Our team includes specialists in surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, avian/exotics, and radiology, as well as a large group of experienced emergency clinicians.
• Advanced Equipment: Digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, laparoscopy, fluoroscopy, mechanical ventilation, telemetry, and state-of-the-art monitoring equipment.

  We offer a well-respected rotating internship, emergency/critical care residency, emergency/surgery internship, and surgery residency. Our support staff is highly trained and enthusiastic about continuing education.

• Diplomate of ACVECC or Residency-Trained Criticalist.
