Job Title:
Morning Wellness Center Associate
Lead, supervise, and instruct members and guests in use of Wellness Center equipment and techniques to improve and/or maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Essential Functions- Orient members and guests to the use and purpose of available equipment.
- Demonstrate proper techniques, and communicate expected results, for each exercise and equipment use.
- Communicate key building blocks in exercise routines including cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, endurance, and flexibility.
- Maintains records and accounts of front desk membership and program sales maintain area for cleanliness; identify and report all potential safety hazards.
- Generate personalized exercise programs and workout cards for each participant.
- Identify and incorporate new fitness procedures and trends.
- Assist in the communication of Wellness Center new classes, programs, and activities.
- Help open the building with light cleaning duties.
- Hours will be 4:45am to 9am.

- Demonstrated knowledge of exercise training techniques and principles including cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility exercises.
- Physically able to conduct and demonstrate exercise routines and equipment use.
- Ability to interact and instruct individuals of a wide range of age and ability.
- National certifications in ACE, AFFA, ACSM highly desirable.
- Required to physically perform demonstration of equipment and exercise.
- Required to demonstrate physical stamina and agility, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, run, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to react to emergency situations by quick movements, strenuous activity, and communicate in a noisy environment.
