We are recruiting an Audit and Accounts Senior/ Manager for an established independent Accountancy Practice.

The Audit and Accounts Senior/Manager will benefit from joining a friendly and experienced team with excellent transport links.

These positions can be located in Swansea or West Cardiff.

Hybrid working is also available (two days per week). The Accountancy practice offer a family-friendly working environment and are passionate about supporting their employees.

The Audit and Accounts Senior/Manager needs to have gained previous accountancy practice-based experience and ideally be ACA/ACCA part/ fully qualified.

The Accountancy Practice are a keen advocate in continued professional development and are happy to provide ACA or ACCA study support.

It would be advantageous if you have working knowledge of Accountancy cloud-based packages including Xero.

We are interested to hear from individuals with Audit experience of all levels.

This role provides a good balance between undertaking audits and accounts preparation.

Audit and Accounts Senior/Manager duties and responsibilities;
Accounts preparation to Manager review.

Liaising with clients via the telephone and assisting with basic enquiries.

Meeting clients at their premises or in the office as and when required.

Running quarterly VAT returns for clients.

Posting of journals for expenses and wages.

Working with cloud-based Accountancy software and Excel.

Liaising with the HMRC as and when required.

Planning and preparing external audits.

Attending external Audits and working with clients at their premises.

Working knowledge of UK GAAP (including FRS 102) and International Auditing.

Identifying ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value.

Working collaboratively with colleagues from other departments.
