Our client is seeking a dynamic Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis at their vibrant location in Swansea Waterfront. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an organisation that values education and supports the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
Maintain and reconcile supplier accounts.
Assist in resolving supplier queries in a timely manner.
Support month-end closing processes related to purchase ledger activities.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of purchase ledger processes.

The successful candidate will possess:

Proven experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable roles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a collaborative mindset.
