CVS) as a Front of House Assistant – Receptionist at the YMCA Swansea.

The YMCA Swansea operates a busy community hub in the city centre, welcoming up to 1,600 visitors each week. The role supports the Reception area, assists with visitor enquiries, and promotes the YMCA’s fitness centre and room hire services.

• Act as the first point of contact for visitors, providing friendly and efficient reception services.
• Answer telephone calls, take messages, and redirect inquiries.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area.
• Support the booking of the YMCA fitness centre and room hire facilities.
• Assist colleagues with administrative tasks as needed.

• Experience in a front‑of‑house or reception role is desirable.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

16 hours per week – evening and weekend work on a rota basis.

Pay: £12.21 per hour (rising to £12.71 per hour from 1 April 2026).

Swansea YMCA – Swansea, Wales.

12‑month fixed‑term beginning immediately.
