Overview

As part of a team you will support HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) by managing court and tribunal cases, ensuring accurate records and providing administrative support across office and courtroom settings. This is a full‑time court‑based role with no hybrid working.

Responsibilities
  • Progress cases through the court and tribunal system, ensuring all required documents are collected, checked and verified.
  • Interpret and record decision information accurately on court files.
  • Prepare papers and files for court hearings, tribunals and meetings.
  • Maintain and update records in HMCTS’ in‑house computer systems.
  • Communicate regularly with court users, including members of the Judiciary, legal professionals and other agencies.
  • Compile statistics, returns, accounts and other reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide customer‑facing support to the public, ensuring high standards of service.
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good organisational and attention‑to‑detail skills.
  • IT proficiency and willingness to learn new technologies and software.
