Our client, a reputable multi‑franchise‑approved car dealership in Swansea, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician looking to advance their career in a well‑established dealership.

  • Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm;

Duties
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  • Ensure accurate diagnosis of vehicle faults and report findings to the Aftersales Manager
  • Maintain high standards of safety, safety and quality procedures as per company guidelines
  • Adhere to health & safety policies and manufacturer protocols at all times
  • Work efficiently within a busy environment, aiming to meet targets set by the dealership
  • Keep detailed records of work carried out, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Assist with vehicle assessments, inspections, and diagnostics
Requirements
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Ideally 1–2 years’ post‑qualification experience in a similar role
  • Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving license with minimal points
  • Living within reasonable commuting distance of Swansea
  • Motivated team player with a professional attitude
  • Ability to produce high‑quality work under pressure
  • Any experience with hybrid/electric vehicles or possession of an active MOT licence is highly desirable but not essential
