We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our franchised workshop team in Swansea. Representing a major automotive brand, we offer a basic salary in line with our £35,000–£40,000 standard range (negotiable based on experience), generous performance bonuses, stable Monday-to-Friday hours (08:30–17:00), and enhanced overtime rates for optional Saturday mornings.
The Rewards- Salary & Bonus: £35,000 – £40,000 per year basic (Negotiable dependent on experience), plus a generous monthly performance-related bonus scheme.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 08:30–17:00. Saturday mornings are optional and paid at an enhanced overtime rate of time and a half.

Your RoleAs a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Swansea dealership workshop, you will:
- Carry out vehicle servicing
, routine maintenance, and mechanical repairs to approved manufacturer standards. - Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and systems issues using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Deliver first-time fixes while maintaining exceptional quality control and clear communication with the workshop team.
- Complete technical documentation cleanly and accurately using garage IT systems.
- Qualifications &
Experience:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. Dealership experience is ideal, but skilled technicians from independent garages are fully encouraged to apply. F‑Gas certification is preferred. - Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential.
An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required. - Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks.
- Key Strengths: Strong technical knowledge, solid IT literacy, a positive work ethic, and the confidence to work independently or as part of a team.
Situated in Swansea, our dealership workshop is easily accessible for candidates commuting daily from Neath, Port Talbot, Llanelli, Carmarthen, Bridgend, and the wider South Wales area.
