Role Description

The Tyre Technician role is a full-time or Part time, on-site position based in Carmarthenshire and the Greater Swansea Area. Day-to-day responsibilities include fitting, balancing, and rotating tyres, inspecting tyres and wheels for wear, damage, and safety issues, and performing basic maintenance and repair tasks related to tyres and wheels. The Tire Technician will assist with wheel-related services such as checking for buckles or alignment concerns, supporting equipment setup and maintenance, and ensuring a clean and safe workshop environment.

The role also involves communicating clearly with customers about tyre options and services, supporting customer satisfaction, and working collaboratively with the wider team to meet service and quality standards.

Qualifications
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and a customer-focused approach to support Customer Satisfaction and clear communication.
  • Hands-on experience with Maintenance & Repair tasks, including tyre fitting, wheel-related work, and general workshop duties.
  • Competence in Equipment Maintenance, including safe operation and routine care of tools, lifts, and tyre machinery.
  • Attention to detail, commitment to safety standards, and ability to follow technical instructions and procedures.
  • Previous experience in a tyre shop is a BONUS, automotive workshop, or similar environment is beneficial.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialist wheel and alloy refurbishment processes.
  • Reliable transportation to Llanelli Area and flexibility to work standard business hours and occasional weekends.
