Position: Business Change Specialist

Salary: £35,663 - A Civil Service Pension with an employer contribution of 28.97%

Contract Type: Permanent - Flexible working, Full-time, Job share, Part-time

Our team plays a key role in delivering impactful organisational change across the business, working closely with project teams, operational colleagues, and senior stakeholders. We are a collaborative and supportive department focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and ensuring colleagues are equipped to succeed through change.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Identify stakeholders and ensures their inclusion in the stakeholder engagement plan.
  • Assist the Project Manager and business/end users in identifying, qualifying, and updating business readiness criteria before implementation.
  • Lead business change activities and collaborate with the project team to achieve the benefits and outcomes in the business case.
  • Champion best practices and provide expert advice to team members and the project community.
  • Employer pension contribution of 28.97% of your salary.
  • 25 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day each year of service (up to a maximum of 30 days annual leave).

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:

  • Ensuring colleagues and stakeholders have a clear understanding of objectives, activities and time frames taking into account individual needs, views and ideas.
  • The ability to integrate change into operations ensuring that activities are planned and completed to enable the business to implement the change and realise the benefits.
  • The ability to develop, produce and maintain schedules for activities that take account of dependencies, resource requirements and constraints in order to enable achieve the implementation of a change into business area(s) and the efficient realisation of benefits.
  • The ability to systematically identify and monitor risks and issues, planning how to mitigate or respond to those risks and issues and implementing the responses.
