Site Engineer

Site Engineer – Major RC & Civils Project – South Wales

We are currently recruiting for experienced Site Engineers to join a specialist subcontractor delivering a major package of works on a flagship construction project in South Wales
.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a long-term project involving a substantial reinforced concrete and concrete pad package valued in excess of £100 million
. You will play a key role in the successful delivery of complex engineering works on one of the region's most significant construction schemes.

• Setting out and surveying works across multiple work fronts
• Interpreting technical drawings and engineering specifications
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design and quality standards
• Carrying out quality assurance checks and maintaining accurate site records
• Assisting with planning, sequencing, and coordination of daily site activities
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and the wider engineering team
• Promoting and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and technical compliance

• Strong background within heavy construction, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects
• Demonstrable experience working on reinforced concrete structures is essential
• Confident using modern surveying equipment and setting out techniques
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills
• Able to work effectively within a fast-paced major project environment

• Degree / HNC / HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Valid CSCS Card
• Proven setting out and engineering experience on major construction or civils projects
