Swansea | Up to £65,000 + Benefits | Hybrid Working

I'm currently working with a leading infrastructure consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in Swansea.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a senior role or an established Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking greater project variety. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of projects within Highways, Rail, Water, Utilities and Major Infrastructure
.

Unlike many positions that focus on a single framework or client, this role offers exposure to major national infrastructure programmes alongside regional transport and local authority projects. With a strong pipeline of work across South Wales, it's an exciting time to join the business.

The Role

You'll lead the delivery of pre and post-contract commercial services across multiple infrastructure projects, managing client relationships and supporting junior members of the commercial team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Cost planning and commercial management
  • NEC3 & NEC4 contract administration
  • Managing compensation events and change control
  • Commercial reporting and forecasting
  • Procurement support
  • Valuations and payment assessments
  • Client and stakeholder management
  • Mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors Supporting projects from inception through to completion
What We're Looking For
  • Previous Senior Quantity Surveying experience within Infrastructure
  • Strong NEC contract knowledge
  • Consultancy, contractor or client-side experience
  • Excellent commercial awareness
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience across Highways, Rail, Water, Utilities or Major Infrastructure
