National Grid currently have a temporary Street Works Assistant opportunity available at our Swansea depot for a period of 12 months, subject to review.This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Street Works team and develop your knowledge and experience within a key area of the business. Whether you are looking to broaden your skillset or gain experience in a new field, this role offers an exciting learning and development opportunity.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you build a strong understanding of street works legislation, processes and systems.

Reporting to the Street Works Team Leader, you will carry out street works administration for National Grid’s operational teams. Using your developing knowledge of street works legislation and your excellent communication skills, you will advise and support both internal and external stakeholders, helping them understand and follow street works processes effectively.

As part of our hybrid working approach, this role offers a mix of office and home working. Hybrid working can be considered once your initial training has been successfully completed and will remain subject to business requirements.
