FREELANCE SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR (Reels) SPHERE Life Background on SPHERE Life

SPHERE is an established magazine (print and digital) focused on luxury, London and travel, aimed at a cultivated, discerning audience.

We’re looking for a freelance social media creative to produce 1 Social Reel per week for our luxury lifestyle magazine covering food, travel, culture, and high-end living. We are known for the high quality and execution of our content and our intelligent outlook on luxury/premium/heritage sectors.

Ideal for someone with other flexible social media projects, who can commit to a small amount of time per week, on a project basis, and keen to gain more experience and involvement in magazines and/or luxury lifestyle.

• Deliver short-form video optimised for Instagram and Tik Tok Reels
• Create and edit1 Reel per weekusing supplied footage (remote) and film original contentat events, locations, or shoots (UK-based)
• Edit with a refined, luxury aesthetic aligned with our brand
• Advise on what performs well for luxury lifestyle audiences (formats, pacing, trends)
• Suggest content angles and themes aligned with our editorial calendar
• Collaborate with the team on optimising the grid aesthetic and brand consistency
• Opportunity to progress and integrate more

• Know your social media platforms, especially Instagram, Linked In and Tik Tok, with an eye for what works in online content creation
• Strong Reels editing skills and visual storytelling
• Familiarity with InDesign, Canva, Cap Cut and social media tools
• An interest in luxury, culture, fashion, retail, trends and news
• Reliable, organised, and someone who is able to work to a weekly rhythm
• Keen to contribute creative ideas for feed curation, storytelling, and overall Reels direction, and confident to share opinions
• Own equipment for filming (when on-site)
• London-based

• Freelance / remote (with in-person filming around 2x per month)
• Ongoing weekly work
• Immediate start

• £50 per Reel (remote editing using provided footage)
• £100 per Reel (when filming content on location, allowing up to two hours of filming, and editing)
