NHS Adult Psychiatry Consultant​/Registrar

We have just been approached by our NHS client in South West England to help recruit them a Specialist Registrar and a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry, both on NHS Fixed Term contracts of at least 12 months or on a permanent basis.

Our client's Mental Health Service has an excellent track record, and has won national prizes from the Royal College of Psychiatry (RCPsych) award for its dedication to improve adult mental health services, with two of our high-flying consultant psychiatrists winning prestigious awards from the British Medical Association (BMA) for Learning Innovation and Outstanding Achievement. This trust provides healthcare services to a total population of around 389,686 throughout the area and provides Acute, Primary, Community, Mental Health and Learning Disabilities services via General and Community Hospitals, Health Centres, GP's, Dentists, Pharmacists and Optometrists and other sites.

In particular, you are a senior doctor wishing to gain experience in the UK, and pursue CESR, our client provides an excellent, structured CESR Pathway. Both of these posts offer excellent opportunities to gain valuable experience in busy and supportive departments within the Mental Health Service. Furthermore, they have a strong Psychotherapy unit and would offer acting up to Locum Consultant during this programme as well as dedicated support and Section 12 approval to become an Approved Clinician.
