Aboutthe Role
We are recruiting an innovative and dynamic individual to provide advice, support and training to facilitate effective digital learning at the University. The Education Development Team works with Faculty and professional service colleagues to shape and support staff pedagogic development, ensuring Swansea continues to offer an outstanding learning experience.
Responsibilities- Provide expert advice, guidance, support, and training to academic staff and key stakeholders on the pedagogic use of technology and learning platforms.
- Advise on technologies such as Canvas and Turnitin for blended, distance, and traditional learning.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other collaborators to drive continuous improvement in teaching quality.
- Work within tight deadlines, demonstrating excellent teamwork, motivation, communication, and personal organisation.
- Strong pedagogical understanding and a record of delivering excellence and innovation in learning and teaching.
- Expertise in how technology and digital learning design can enhance quality teaching.
- In‑depth knowledge of university learning technologies (Canvas, Turnitin, etc.).
- Excellent teamwork, communication, organisation, flexibility and ability to meet absolute deadlines.
