The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to teach AS and Level 3 Applied Diploma in Medical Science Qualification.
- Fractional 0.5 (18.5 hours per week)
- Fixed term until 31st May 2026
- £13,193 – 25,965 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience); FTE £26,386 – 51,931
- Gorseinon Campus
- Working as part of a team to develop and employ a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
- Monitor learner progress and provide effective feedback throughout the academic year.
- Ensure excellence in teaching and learning is a key priority for the College.
- Make a full contribution to team meetings and have a positive impact on the overall quality of this subject area.
- Possess an undergraduate degree in Biology or equivalent subject.
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification or be working towards one.
- Able to demonstrate successful experience of teaching in a post‑16 setting.
- A very confident communicator and committed individual who can manage and inspire learners of all abilities.
- Excellent organisational skills and a team player.
- 46 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, and the college is closed for two weeks over the Christmas period.
- A Teachers Pension Scheme with an average employer contribution of 28% (2024).

SalaryFull‑time equivalent salary: £26,386 – 51,931 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
