English Second Language Teacher at Cosmo

Join the premiere online learning platform Cosmo 1:1, formerly Class Up, connecting K‑12 students in the US, Canada and across Asia with tutors from top universities and colleges for personalized lessons. As a tutor you will teach ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong using the Cosmo curriculum.

This is a perfect opportunity for experienced educators to connect with students in an after‑school setting. You will conduct 50‑minute 1‑on‑1 lessons on a fixed schedule that you set and create a welcoming learning environment.

The pay rate is $20 USD per class plus additional incentives.

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability
• Submit class feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K‑12 in ELA
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum
• Experience teaching ESL learners
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1
• Available between 08:00‑14:00 GMT Monday‑Friday or 05:00‑14:00 GMT weekends
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability per week
• Access to a private and quiet location
